Epilepsy Patients
Rosemary, Peppermint, and Sage contain high levels of ketones or cineole, which may trigger neurological sensitivities.
Infants & Young Children
Eucalyptus, Peppermint, and Lemongrass are too potent for a child's respiratory and nervous systems; topical use is not recommended for children under 6.
Photosensitivity
Avoid direct sunlight or UV exposure for 12 hours after applying citrus oils like Lemon, Grapefruit, Bergamot, or Sweet Orange to prevent skin burns or pigmentation.
High Blood Pressure & Specific Medications
Rosemary may increase blood pressure; individuals on anticoagulants should use Clove with caution.
